----Jianghan University has a rich tradition of fostering creativity and the arts.
School of Design
Situated next to Triangle Lake and surrounded by pleasant scenery, the Jianghan University School of Design occupies an area of 24,700 square meters, and the building’s design highlights the distinctive artistic features of different design disciplines, creating aesthetically rich indoor and outdoor environments which provide a communication space for education in the new, open classroom.
Art Gallery of the Jianghan University Fine Arts Academy
The Art Gallery of the Fine Arts Academy is Jianghan University’s venue for academic exchanges and teaching achievement exhibitions. Established in November 2002, the gallery boasts an exhibition area of 200 square meters, with modern lighting, an interior design environment, showrooms, warehouse equipment, and a collection of 215 works by faculty and alumni.

The gallery also hosted the 2009 Eleventh National Exhibition of Oil Paintings Seminar, the 2002 Jianghan University Teachers College of Arts Alumni Exhibition Seminar and the 2013 Session of the Fine Arts Painting Creative Seminar, and more than 10 symposia.
In addition, the gallery has received visits from national, provincial and municipal officials, and carried out exchanges with experts and scholars from Oita, Japan; Canada Trinity Western University, Tsinghua University, China Academy of Fine Arts, the Chinese Artists Association Museum and other institutions.
The Art Gallery of the Jianghan University Fine Arts Academy dedicates its interest to works of fine art for teachers, students and the community in order to showcase the beauty and promote the growth of the fine arts, advance culture, exchange aesthetic ideas, and enhance aesthetic quality.
