Jianghan University

Jianghan University (JHUN) is a public multidisciplinary university in Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei Province. It is co-built by the municipal provincial governments, but mainly endorsed by the former. At the approval of Ministry of Education, four universities & colleges—the old Jianghan University, Huazhong University of Science & Technology Hankou Branch, Wuhan University of Education, Wuhan Medical College for Workers merged to form Jianghan University in October 2001. In June 2002, the school moved as a whole to the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) .

The open JHUN values international communication & cooperation, it has established stable links of academic exchange & cooperation with over 53 universities in 21 countries & regions. The university has also established 12 international joint laboratories including the Nano Biomedical Engineering Center.
