Graduate Admissions

----As a comprehensive university, Jianghan University offers opportunities for lifelong learning, including continuing adult education, executive and professional programs, and special programs to meet the needs of the masses.

Candidates applying for a full-time academic master’s degree shall comply with the following conditions stipulated by the State:

1. Show support for the leadership of the Communist Party of China, willingness for

socialist modernization, good moral character, law-abiding.

2. Generally not more than 40 years of age, though no age limit is placed on commissioned and self-funded candidates.

3. Personal physical health examination must meet national requirements.

4. Those who have previously been master’s or doctoral candidates may only apply for

continuing education or self-funded study.

5.Candidates must meet one of the following academic qualifications:

(1)Recently graduated, with nationally recognized qualifications;

(2) From a university faculty with nationally recognized qualifications;

(3)Having a nationally recognized 2-year vocational degree (graduation from September 1, 2015, as below), or more than 2 years’ study with degree equivalency, in accordance with the target objectives of the candidate’s specific field of study as proposed by faculty;

(4)The State recognizes the qualifications of recent graduates of undergraduate universities and adult universities according to the graduates’ equivalent education status;

(5)Having been doctoral or master’s staff.

Self-study and online are required to confirm the registration deadline on site in order to obtain State acknowledgment before applying for their undergraduate degree.

Before enrollment, graduate students must apply for the academic institution’s consent.
